Today is Month End---Need a Big Push!

Today marks the halfway point of our year  (that means it will be inventory beforew you know it!)
Let's finish the month, and the halfway point strong!  With a BIG push, we can hit last year's sales number for the month (we need around $65,000)

Let's get it done!

Another Friday, Another Month End

This Friday represents the end of the first six months of our year.  While we were very busy through the first five months (Thanks for the Snow!), it seems to have slowed down a bit.  With Friday being the month end, please make sure to review the Unconfirmed Pick Tickets for your branch.

As always, please review your Portal View.  Especially if you are in Oustside Sales.  You get to see ALL orders for your territory, and should key in on the oldest ones.

We need to do around $100,000 to equal last May.  Let's see how close we can come!

As always, your efforts are MOST appreciated.  Let's see how close we can come (maybe even hit it!) and have a great Holiday Weekend.

Friday is Month End!!

This Friday is our Month End.  We have been on a pretty good roll since February.  The winter's snow gave way to a busy Spring.  We are concerned that rising gas prices will take some of the momentum out of the economy.

Hopefully by now we are all checking our Portal views and staying on top of open orders.  We do have a considerable amount of product on shippers (around $150,000).  If you are not reviewing your Portal view, please make it part of your daily routine.  It is easy to check the status of the orders in your view, and we can proactively expedite old orders and keep our cistomers happy.  No one likes to get a call from a customer looking for an old order, reviewing Portal view will keep you on top of your orders.

Congratulations goes out to our Hope crew.  On Wednesday April 13th, Raytheon held an awards banquet for their top Suppliers.  Hope was awarded four stars (out of a possible five) for excellence in performance (on time delivery and quality were key evaluators).  Hope was presented a nice award and a big congratulatory banner.  Great job!

As mentioed earlier, our sales are around the same as last year, if we can finish the month strong, we can wind up slightly ahead of last year at this time.

Thanks for your efforts!

Good Start to the Spring

Historically March is always one of our strongest months, and March, 2011 did not disappoint!
We finished up with sales of $906,000.   It has been a long time since we have broken the $900,000 figure.
Kudo's to Tom Rielly who had an EXCELLENT month.  GID also had a strong month.
Let's hope this is a new upward trend for us.
Great job, let's keep the ball rolling!

First Quarter in the Books!

February marked the end of our first quarter, and what a quarter it was!  We had lots of snow creating brisk sales activity and we moved our Boston location.  Our sales for the first quarter are almost identical to last year, around $2.1 million.

Handling snow plow blades and moving a location is a lot of work.  Everyone's hard work is most appreciated.  As a token of our appreciation, everyone is recieving a $200 bonus this week.  Salesmen will have it added to their commission check, inside people will receive a second check.

So far sales activity has remained steady in March.

Thanks for your efforts!

Today we begin using P21 version 12.

Most of the screens will look pretty close to what you're used to.  The navigation ( how we move from Module to Module ) is different.

We tried to give you some basic screens that your job would require.  These are listed across the top.  They are "My Menu" screens, if you remember or use "My Menu".

The rest of the navigation can be accessed by typing Alt+D ( that's the "Alt" key on either side of the space bar and "D" at the same time ).

We think you should use the "Window" tab at the top to move back and forth between windows.  The P21 icon at the bottom no longer displays multiple Modules.

Also, we should not click the "Exit" icon anymore.  "Exit" will take you out of P21, not just the Module you are in.  Click on the "X" in the upper right or the "Door" icon.

Please call me if you are having trouble finding things.  I'm sure it will take a little time to get used to the changes.
